  28. This does seem quite unfortunate.  I am also a student, and like you, am 
  29. planning to buy some animation software for my PC in the very near future.  
  30. All I can say is that with the high prices for *decent* animation/graphics 
  31. software on the market today, price discounts for struggling students are 
  32. a must!  If NewTek has "just said NO!" to sutdent discounts, it might be wise 
  33. to wait for discounts through mail order.  If anyone who reads this newsgroup 
  34. finds a discount through mail-order, please post the relevant info. here! -- 
  35. even a small discount is better than no discount at all!
